When it comes to movie streaming, there are really only two players in the game: Netflix and Hulu. Which one you choose is the question that everyone’s asking themselves these days.
Netflix has a much wider selection of movies, but they’re no longer exclusive to just DVD rental anymore. So while they have some great new releases, they also have a lot of movies you might not be interested in at all. Then there’s Hulu: their selection is much more limited and older (maybe even television shows from way back!). You can watchcartoononline also.
A relatively new player on the movie streaming site scene, Kanopy is definitely worth a mention. They have an amazing selection of award-winning movies, with new additions to their collection every week. But this isn’t just another free movie streaming service – it’s actually a service provided to universities as part of their educational offerings. If you can get your hands on university email you can sign up, but if not there are ways to do so without being affiliated with a school.
Private Internet Access:
Another movie streaming site that’s worth mentioning is Private Internet Access. Like Kanopy, PIA doesn’t offer a selection of old movies that you might not be interested in. Instead, they focus on getting the latest releases out there and have a huge collection just waiting to be seen.
If you’re looking for an older movie AND something with subtitles, Movielib is worth checking out. This may not be the most convenient option, requiring you to download the videos beforehand and keep them in your computer.
An Irish company that has a massive range of movie streaming options, Film Rise offers a variety of different features for you to use. You can create your own personal database, watch any TV shows you want and even import your DVD collection.
If you’re looking for a good selection of movies on all different devices, then this article is for you! If you’re interested in checking them out yourself in the meantime, then sign up for one of these great services and get watching!
